Arthur Wood Pink Floral Teapot Niagara Parks Cup and Saucer Set
DESCRIPTION
A three-piece pink chintz tea grouping: an Arthur Wood & Son Staffordshire teapot with lid, plus a Niagara Parks fine bone china cup and matching saucer. All three share a pale-pink ground with an all-over floral — roses, yellow and white blossoms, small blue flowers, green leaves — and gold-tone rim trim. The teapot lid has a round gold-tone finial. Cup interior is plain white; saucer has a white well for the cup.
WORTH NOTING
This is a mixed-maker set, not one factory pattern. Teapot base: printed Arthur Wood & Son / Staffordshire, England / Est 1884, gold pattern number 6763 H, embossed ARTHUR WOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND. Cup and saucer bases: Niagara Parks Fine Bone China Made in England with a green tree mark.
MEASUREMENTS
Teapot approximately 6.5" H with lid × about 9" spout-to-handle (body about 5" across). Cup about 2.75" H; saucer about 5.5" across. Photo-estimated from the ruler shot and grouping photos.
CONDITION
Pre-owned English ceramics. Pieces photograph glossy and complete (teapot with lid, cup, saucer). Unglazed teapot foot rim shows shelf scuffs. Review every photo for gold trim, lid fit, rims, and the Niagara Parks marks.
STYLE NOTES
Cottage chintz for a tea tray or shelf — pink florals and gold rims, with a souvenir Niagara Parks cup alongside the Staffordshire pot.
