DESCRIPTION
A clear cut crystal bar set pairing a broad, fan-shaped decanter with six rounded tumblers. The decanter is deeply cut with fan and diamond motifs below a narrow neck and a substantial faceted stopper, and each tumbler echoes the lower diamond pattern beneath a smooth upper band, so the set reads as one handsome whole on a tray.
WORTH NOTING
- Blue-and-gold foil label on the decanter reads Bohemia, Czech Republic
- Label reads Lead Crystal Over 24% PbO
- One decanter with faceted stopper and six tumblers
- Fan and diamond cut decoration
- Broad body that narrows considerably in side profile
- Stopper fit not tested
MEASUREMENTS
- Decanter approx. 11" H with stopper
- Decanter approx. 8.5" W at the widest point
- Tumblers approx. 3.75" H
CONDITION
Good pre-owned condition with light signs of age and handling. Please review photographs for details. No large chips or cracks are visible, though the many cut edges can hide small nicks. The stopper fit has not been tested.
STYLE NOTES
Set it on a silver tray in the library with a good Scotch, or on a mirrored shelf beside the bar.
