1980s Crystal Clear Industries Turkey Floral Crystal Pitcher & 6 Tumblers

DESCRIPTION

A lovely seven-piece vintage crystal beverage service by Crystal Clear Industries, handcrafted in Turkey and dating to the 1980s.

The set pairs a generously proportioned clear crystal pitcher with six coordinating tall tumblers, each decorated with delicate pink-and-white blossoms, soft green foliage and slender flowering branches. The decoration has an airy, almost watercolor quality against the clear crystal, giving the entire service a wonderfully light garden-table feel.

Several pieces retain their original Crystal Clear Industries labels identifying the crystal as handcrafted and made in Turkey.

WORTH NOTING

An especially appealing surviving set with one pitcher and six matching tumblers rather than assorted replacement pieces.

Original labels remain on several pieces and read “Handcrafted Crystal — Made in Turkey — Crystal Clear Industries.”

Crystal Clear Industries was active in the American crystal and table-glassware market during this period, with its U.S. trademark for crystal table glassware filed in 1982 and registered in 1984.

MEASUREMENTS

Pitcher approximately 9 inches high. Tumblers approximately 5.5–6 inches high.

Seven pieces total: one pitcher and six coordinating tumblers.

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition with light evidence of previous use consistent with age. Several pieces retain their original Crystal Clear Industries labels.
