DESCRIPTION

A wonderfully decorative pair of vintage nesting serving trays, fashioned in warm dark wood and richly ornamented with colorful folk-inspired floral designs.

Each oval tray features a scalloped rim, integrated cutout handles and an elaborate central medallion surrounded by scrolling flowers and foliage in jewel-like shades of blue, coral, red, green and gold. Fine painted details against the deep wood ground give the pair an especially warm, collected character.

The two trays are graduated in size and designed to nest neatly together for storage, making the set as practical as it is decorative.

WORTH NOTING

A true nesting pair, with the smaller tray fitting inside the larger when not in use.

The floral decoration is particularly detailed, combining a central floral medallion with scrolling botanical motifs around the perimeter. Integrated handles and scalloped edges complete the design.

Beautiful enough to leave displayed between uses.

MEASUREMENTS

Larger tray approximately 19 inches long × 11 inches wide × 2 inches high.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition with surface wear, marks and finish variation consistent with age and previous use.

The painted decoration remains wonderfully colorful and attractive. Please review all photographs closely for the wood surfaces, floral decoration, scalloped rims, handle openings and finish, as they form part of the condition description.
