DESCRIPTION

A wonderfully nostalgic Thomas Collector's Edition cathedral radio, model BD-109, designed in homage to the dramatic arched tabletop radios of the 1930s.

The polished wood cabinet rises into a classic cathedral arch surrounding an ornate speaker grille, warm brass-tone tuning display and three simple black control knobs. The result has all the visual charm of an early radio while offering later AM/FM functionality in a wonderfully displayable tabletop form.

A numbered Thomas Collector's Edition plaque identifies this example as No. 0451.

Thomas Collector's Edition radios were created as nostalgic reproductions of early radio designs rather than as original 1930s receivers.

This example is model BD-109 and carries its numbered Collector's Edition plaque, No. 0451.
