DESCRIPTION

A substantial vintage Vetra Italian lead crystal ice bucket, beautifully worked with deep star and diamond cuts, vertical faceting, a dramatic sawtooth rim, and two sculpted crystal handles.

The heavy crystal and deeply cut pattern catch and refract the light beautifully, giving this smaller tabletop ice bucket considerably more presence than its scale might suggest. Designed for serving ice at the bar, it is equally handsome displayed alongside a favorite decanter or traditional cocktail service.

WORTH NOTING

Retains its original Vetra label and accompanying Vetra paperwork, with the crystal identified as 30% PbO lead crystal.

MEASUREMENTS

CONDITION

Very good vintage condition with light evidence of previous use consistent with age. Original Vetra label remains present. Please review photographs carefully, particularly the sawtooth rim, faceted handles, interior and cut crystal surfaces, as they form part of the condition description.
