1950s Cut Crystal Ice Bucket Silver-Plated Rim and Ring Handles
DESCRIPTION
A clear cut-crystal ice bucket with a tapered cylindrical body, a silver-plated rim, and two swinging ring handles. The glass is deeply cut: a ring of large oval / thumbprint panels around the midsection, diamond / hobnail cutting below, and a starburst on the underside around a smooth central button. The metal collar has a repeating stamped border and darkened vintage patina.
WORTH NOTING
Dating to circa the 1950s–1960s, this substantial crystal ice bucket pairs deeply cut geometric decoration with a silver-plated collar and swinging ring handles. Oval thumbprint panels, diamond cutting, and a radiating starburst base give the piece considerable brilliance, while the aged silver plate retains the character of its original mid-century barware setting. Unmarked.
MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 7.5" H × 7" W at the rim (excluding handles); handle-to-handle about 8.5"; base about 5.5" across. Photo-estimated.
CONDITION
Pre-owned vintage barware. Crystal photographs clear and bright. The silver-plated rim and rings show tarnish and plating wear. Review every image for the rim, handles, interior residue, and base cuts.
STYLE NOTES
Classic silver-and-crystal barware for a bar cart, cocktail service, or as a sparkling table bucket.
