1990s JBK Camrose & Kross Jackie Kennedy Sunflower Brooch 24K Gold Plate

DESCRIPTION

A collectible Camrose & Kross Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Sunflower Brooch, created as an authorized reproduction of a jewel from Jacqueline Kennedy's celebrated personal collection.

The flower is wonderfully dimensional, formed from overlapping layers of pointed golden petals surrounding a deeply textured seed head. Warm amber-colored crystals punctuate the dark center among tiny polished golden beads, creating the rich brown-and-gold coloring of a sunflower at the end of summer.

The construction is surprisingly substantial for its scale. Viewed from the side, the blossom rises dramatically from the pin rather than sitting flat against the lapel, while the individually modeled petals create an irregular, naturalistic edge.

Camrose & Kross produced the Jacqueline Kennedy Collection as faithful reproductions inspired by pieces owned and worn by the former First Lady. This example bears the JBK signature on the reverse, identifying it as part of that collectible series.
