Patricia Nash Vienna Painted Floral Leather Satchel Handbag
DESCRIPTION
A richly colored Patricia Nash Vienna satchel crafted in leather with an exuberant painterly floral design sweeping across the body.
Deep russet, coral, amber, blue and green blooms emerge against a warm, antiqued ground, framed by dark brown leather trim and rolled handles. The print has the romantic, old-world character Patricia Nash does particularly well — somewhere between a botanical painting and a beautifully aged piece of decorative leather.
The structured satchel opens generously through accordion-style side gussets, while antiqued brass-tone hardware and the embossed Patricia Nash grape-leaf emblem reinforce the intentionally timeworn European character of the design.
Despite all that decoration, the silhouette remains wonderfully practical: substantial enough for everyday use but distinctive enough to carry as the centerpiece of an outfit.
WORTH NOTING
Identified as the Patricia Nash Vienna Satchel, a floral leather design from the modern Patricia Nash collection. Comparable Vienna examples confirm the model identification.
Patricia Nash uses full-grain leather and signature antiqued/brushed brass hardware extensively throughout its handbag collections; the house continues to produce floral printed leather designs today.
This is a modern designer handbag and is not represented as vintage.

FROM THE HOUSE
Patricia Nash has always understood that leather needn't behave like a neutral.
Here, the satchel becomes almost a little traveling canvas — autumnal flowers, aged brass and dark leather arranged in a shape that feels as though it might have been discovered in an old European wardrobe rather than designed for the modern one.
