About this piece

DESCRIPTIONSet of six Pier 1 stemmed wine glasses with exuberant hand-decorated appeal. Each clear glass has a deep ruby-red bowl band scattered with tiny gold starbursts, layered olive, orange, aqua, and clear stripes, and fine gold geometric borders. Slender amethyst-purple stems rise from broad turquoise feet painted with concentric plum, chartreuse, and gold medallions—a jewel-box palette from rim to base.WORTH NOTINGEach glass wears its own removable beaded wine charm, including a snowman, Christmas tree, and assorted colorful ornament-like drops visible in the photos. The six share the same decorative vocabulary while small differences in painted lines and charm designs make every place setting distinct. The source identifies Pier 1; no pattern name is shown.MEASUREMENTSEach glass is approximately 8.5–9.5 in. high with a 3–3.5 in. bowl/foot diameter, estimated from photos. Capacity was not supplied and has not been verified.CONDITIONPre-owned. The gallery shows surface scratches, spotting, and areas of rubbing or loss to the gold-tone and colored decoration, especially on bowls and feet. All six stand upright and no obvious chips or cracks are visible in the supplied photos, but rims and bases have not been inspected in person. Charms are included as photographed; please review close-ups for individual wear.STYLE NOTESThese are maximalist glasses with a festive streak—made for mulled wine, jewel-toned cocktails, or a dinner table lit by too many candles. Let the mismatched charms assign seats while the painted stems turn open shelving into a celebration.FROM THE HOUSESix glasses, six tiny charms, and absolutely no interest in blending into the cabinet—pour something worthy of the color. ~ Genevieve
